May 22, 2023 β The Government and People of Grenada are deeply saddened by news of the tragic dormitory fire at the Mahdia Secondary School, Guyana that claimed the lives of at least nineteen (19) innocent children overnight and left many others injured.
βOur hearts go out to the entire community of Mahdia, especially the families and loved ones who will be eternally affected by this devastating incident,β Prime Minister, Hon. Dickon Mitchell lamented. βWe extend our deepest condolences during this time of profound grief and loss.β
