On Friday 4 June 2021, Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel received a “Pure Safe Vaccinated Certificate” from the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen, in partnership with the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) and Grenada Hotel & Tourism Associate (GHTA).
This certificate is presented to hotels & businesses that have achieved full vaccination of their team members. We are incredibly proud that all of our 90 team members at Calabash are vaccinated to comply with health & safety at work guidelines. Therefore, we have a very safe environment for everyone on our property.
With a 90% vaccination rate in the hotel and tourism sector, it is wonderful that our industry is leading the way back to a life free from restrictions. We thank our team members and the many other people in Grenada who have made this positive step towards a better future for us all.
Vaccination is essential to the future of Grenada. All approved vaccines, including the AstraZeneca vaccine, have been proven to be very safe and effective, and are already saving millions of lives worldwide.
