Two St. Andrew residents are expected to appear before the St. George’s Magistrates Court on Thursday 20th October, 2016 to answer to a slew of drug charges.
Damian St. Paul, 42 of Harford Village and Edmund Guy, a Vincentian national, residing at Telescope are jointly charged with possession and trafficking of a controlled drug and conspiracy to import a controlled drug.
Guy is facing an additional charge of importing a controlled drug.
Charges were laid against the duo after officers attached to Drug Squad intercepted a vehicle driven by St. Paul in Mt. Gay, St. George about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday 16th October.
The weekend operation netted one hundred and thirty pounds (130 1bs) of compressed Cannabis.
Meanwhile in another police operation, two fine bags of compressed marijuana were recovered at the Anse La Roche Beach, Carriacou. No one has been arrested. Police investigations continue.
