A Group of 14 Individuals is set to leave for the People’s Republic of China this Saturday to participate in an agriculture processing and storage technology training programme.
The training programme will run for a period of three weeks.
A release, in this regard, says participants will have the opportunity to learn about post-harvest handling of agricultural products, storage and packaging technologies, agricultural product machinery, agricultural production transportation, and the operations of international trade of agricultural products within the context of digital economy.
The group, which mainly consists of youth, represents diverse operations in local agro-processing companies that specialize in smoked goods, processed ground provision flours, confectioneries, sea moss products, among other things.
