INTEGRITY COMMISSION RECEIVED DECLARATIONS FROM OPPOSITION PARLIAMENTARIANS
A report from the office of the Integrity Commission says several more Parliamentarians yesterday declared their Assets, Income and Liabilities, as required by law.
Among them, was Opposition Leader, Dr. the Right Hon. Keith Mitchell.
Dr. Mitchell and the 8 other Parliamentarians were of a number of 14 from both the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament issued notice by the Commission for their declarations yesterday.
All this is in accordance with the Integrity in Public Life Act No. 24 of 2013.
The other members of Parliament filing declarations yesterday were Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen, Delma Thomas, Emmalin Pierre, Senator Katisha Douglas, Senator Norland Cox, Senator Neilon Franklyn, Senator Mondy Andre Lewis, Senator Salim Rahaman and Senator Roderick St. Clair.
Receiving the Declarations on behalf of the Commission were Chairperson A Anande Trotman (Lady) Joseph and Commissioner Justin Campbell.
The Commission received requests for extensions from 3 Parliamentarians.
One Member of Parliament did not show up to file declarations and did not request an extension.
