Meanwhile as it relates to the CARICOM Single Market and Economy and the island nation of Haiti.
At a special press briefing this afternoon to speak on the MNIB matter, Prime Minister Mitchell in his opening statement spoke of an occurrence where by 15 Haitian nationals are awaiting deportation from the island.
Prime Minister Mitchell indicated that the individuals arrived on island yesterday via Trinidad en-route from St. Martin.
He made reference to having the issue be addressed at the 44th CARICOM Heads of Government Inter-Sessional Conference this week.
