Grenada police say a 19-year-old Beausejour resident is being detained and questioned in connection with investigations into the shooting incident in Mon Toute last Thursday.
The incident resulted in a thirty-two-year-old man being hospitalized suffering from gunshot wounds.
Wee FM News understands the man has not yet been discharged.
He received injuries to his left elbow, left forearm, the upper right side of the abdomen and lower right side of his hip.
The incident occurred in a shop in the Mon Toute area, following which the shooter sped off in a vehicle.
