A 33 year old St. Andrew resident will spend the next 20 years and one month behind bars.

Kimron Abraham of Munich St. Andrew had his fate read out to him last Friday at the high court.

Abraham was arrested and charged last year for non-capital murder for causing the death of Wilbert Alexis of the same address.

The sentence was meted down by Justice Paula Gilford, following his guilty plea.

Appointed by the state Abraham’s legal representative Attorney at law Jerry Edwin, spoke with the media following the sentencing, he says the crime was heinous.

Edwin says therapy will be included as part of Abraham’s 20-year sentencing.
