Activities marking Grenada’s Golden Independence jubilee continues in earnest as the New Year 2024 steps in.
That’s the word from the Jubilee Celebrations Committee, which had a News Conference on the subject this morning.
In November, after the launch of the celebrations in October, the activities began with a Mobile Museum and the rest of the activities will continue with the passing of the Christmas holiday.
There’ll be a sporting event on January 28, which we will highlight in the upcoming sporting segment.
On the 30th of January there’ll be the launch of the 50th Independence historic and art exhibition, with a call currently for artists to submit their creative pieces.
Mrs. Purcell says the activities will present a time for families to enjoy the Christmas Jubilee.
