The National Independence Celebrations Committee will tomorrow outline details surrounding the “Up From Here Concert”, a special event marking Grenada’s 50th Independence anniversary celebrations.
There’ll be a concert launch at the VIP Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Kirani James Athletic Stadium, beginning 10 in the morning.
The occasion will feature key speakers:- Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture Minister, Adrian Thomas; Ambassador for the Creative Economy and Creative Director, Orlando Romain, who’s on the Local Organizing Committee, Grenada Turns 50; Hollis “Mr. Killa Mapp”, a performer for the “Up From Here Concert and the Concert’s Project Manager, Shivron Redhead.
Among the highlights at the launch tomorrow will be a Visual Presentation, providing a sneak peek into the concert preparations, including stage design and thematic elements.
This, as well as insights concerning the unveiling of the theme, announcement of the local and international Grenadian artistes, bands and performers for the concert.
Set against the backdrop of the beauty of Grenada, the “Up From Here” Concert seeks to showcase a celebration of the Grenadian spirit, talent, and creativity, on the occasion of the country’s 50th Independence anniversary.
It will be held on the 2nd of next month at the National Cricket Stadium.
