The Grenada Cooperative Bank today staged what’s deemed to be the 2nd annual Investment Migration Conference, reviewing projects under the CBI Programme.

The Conference was aimed at Grenada maintaining its gold standard under the programme framework.

Ronald Theodore, the Deputy Chairman of the CBI Committee, speaks of the intention of the review as a means of improving the CBI Programme.

Incoming Managing Director of Co-op Bank says the intention of the conference is to bring the stakeholders together in discussion so as to keep the programme on even keel and at the same time maintain the gold standard and aim at making it more sustainable.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Oliver Joseph, says despite COVID-19, they have seen an increase in the number of approved applications under the CBI programme.

Joseph says the Government needs to be on top of its game and appreciates the role of Coop Bank in bringing the stakeholders together.
