Stakeholders in the Tourism industry here are elated with the resumption of cruise calls to our shores.
On Friday of last week two ships berthed at the St. George’s port, “Britannia” and “Seabourn Odyssey” which brought a total of more than 2 thousand visitors.
On hand to welcome the visitors were tourism officials, along with tour agents and President of the National Taxi Association.
Catherine Martel Spinosi, the Tour Agent for Tropical Charms, says Grenada has a lot to offer with its many attraction sites and activities for tourists to enjoy.
Another Tour Agent, Andrew Bierzynski, while speaking on the resumption of the cruise industry, says it was a joyous moment for his team who was able to come out and make the visitors’ experience a memorable one.
President of the National Taxi Association, Cosmos Joseph, says the resumption is very crucial for all its members.
