The Ministry Of Health is said to be beefing up the nutrition status of students in the Nation’s schools, through the School Feeding Programme, concentrating more on local foods.
This is according to Acting Head of the School Feeding Department, Marlene Neptune.
She speaks of the Ministry looking at the idea of meal kits in the future that can be prepared and offered to vulnerable students.
