The parliamentary elections office is reporting that there has been an increase in the number of persons turning out to register and renew their voter registration cards.
Elections in Grenada are constitutionally due next year.
However in recent weeks there has been hype, by various political parties on the island for persons to get registered.
In an interview with Wee fm news desk Voter and civic registration Officer, at the Parliamentary Elections Office Ferdinand Phillip says he’s impressed with the turnout thus far.
Phillip says the demographics of new voters are mixed.
