The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Annandale Water System that in order to facilitate system maintenance, they will experience an interruption in supply between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.
The Annandale Water System serves: Annandale, Constantine, New Hampshire through to River Road to the entire south of the island
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruption in supply.
Please also be advised that although the network will be reopened at 8:00 p.m. consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
The public is also advised that as a result of the maintenance activities, there will be heavy flow in the Beausejour River, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
NAWASA advises that while there should be NO CAUSE FOR ALARM, river users should exercise caution during the period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused as a result of this maintenance activity and thanks you for your patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
