Highlighting comments by Grenada’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, on the region’s watch concerning the new COVID-19 sub-variant, XBB.1.5, we hear that Grenada stands ready to fight the battle, should there be any possible surge.
He says they are monitoring the situation closely.
Based on the COVID-19 pandemic that has crippled the economies of many countries, Dr. Charles admits the World is going through a rough period and remains optimistic and hopeful about Grenada’s vigilance and resilience.
Dr. Charles says it maybe a while before the World can safely say COVID-19 is over.
