Grenadian Historian, Delbert Braveboy, wants to see the country’s trade imbalance with Trinidad and Tobago corrected.
He says for too long this has been allowed to continue and Grenada has been suffering economically, even as it concerns restrictions in the twin-island Republic when it comes to the entry into that country of Grenadian-produced honey.
He says in this regard this imbalance must be fixed considering the approach to the 50th independence anniversary milestone.
Speaking about island prosperity, among other things, Braveboy believes there’s a lot in the area of agricultural production that has to be addressed to be self sufficient, so as to give independence its true meaning.
