Today Grenada joined countries around the world in observing “World Water Day” focusing attention on the importance of water.
World Water Day 2023 was celebrated under the theme ‘Accelerating Change’ and this year’s campaign called “Be the change”, encourages people to take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume and manage water.
The “Be the Change” initiative provides an opportunity for all to do better and “walk the talk” when it comes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and help encourage people to live more sustainably.
Here in Grenada the National Water and Sewage Authority NAWASA is holding a number of activities to commemorate the day.
She indicated that the “Be the Change” initiative is a fun way of doing good for household, business, community and the world.
