Provision of support from the Saudi Fund for Development to Grenada was the crux of conversation when Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, met and held talks yesterday with a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Ahmed Bin Al Kha-teeb, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Minister of Tourism.
This assistance aims to contribute to the development of a Climate Smart Infrastructure Programme, which seeks to address Grenada’s susceptibility to extreme weather conditions and the associated challenges of flooding and infrastructure vulnerabilities, particularly along the coastline.
Prime Minister Mitchell also outlined some of the projects that will benefit from the Saudi Fund for Development.
Prime Minister Mitchell says capacity building is another component of the project.
