REPORT:

The Grenadian Leader and his delegation are part of a wider grouping of Leaders down to attend the Summit.

The Summit is seen as being historic, with Saudi Arabia opening up ties with the Caribbean and to begin a mutual bond of friendship.

It’s the desire of both regions, Saudi Arabia, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

The major goal is to promote investment and commerce, particularly in critical sectors such as infrastructure, hospitality, energy, climate change, and environmental sustainability.

Aside from trade and investment, the summit aims to strengthen shared values, improve people-to-peoples’ contact, and celebrate cultural heritage.

Expectation is that although Saudi Arabia is miles away, the setting up of relationships can help in a plethora of ways to bring benefits to debt-riddled countries of small island States.
