The two men and lone female charged in the Mt. Granby drug raid were sentenced on May 18th 2020.
On the charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply and Entering the State Illegally, Vincentian Junior Jamal Charles was fined on each charge one thousand dollars to be paid forthwith, in default one month in prison. While, on the charge of Money Laundering he was reprimanded and discharged and the monies forfeited to the State. He has been ordered remove from the State on the completion of the payment or serving prison sentence.
Ramon Ogiste, who was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, was fined seven hundred and fifty dollars to be paid in one month, in default one month in prison.
The lone female, Della Simon, whose charges were Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of a Controlled Drug was fined one thousand five hundred dollars to be paid in three months and in default three months in prison, and five hundred dollars to be paid in three months and in default one month in prison, respectively.

In a separate matter, one Vincentian and a Grenadian were recently sentenced to Her Majesty’s Prison in connection with drug bust that netted 406 pounds of Cannabis in October 2019.
Vincentian Kebba Foye, was sentenced to two years and three months, while Rawlin Baker was sentenced to one year, six months.
A third person, Kamara Lampkin also of St. Vincent who was apprehended during the drug bust was immediately deported to his homeland on allegation of a murder charge.
