The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in St. Paul’s in the parish of St. George that the current interruption in their water supply, is due to two damaged water mains.
Restoration is anticipated by 12:00 a.m., Friday October 2nd, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 12:00 a.m., some consumers, especially those in elevated areas, may receive their supply within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
Motorists are also advised that there may be delays in the flow of traffic along the St. Pau’s Main Road in the vicinity of the roundabout close to the Police Station and De La Grenade Industries. Motorists are therefore encouraged to use alternative routes to get to their various destinations.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
