US Embassy Cancels Visa Appointments As Covid Cases Spike

Grenadians Who May Have appointments at the US Embassy in Barbados are being advised that all visa appointments from Wednesday, January 6 to Friday, January 15, 2021, have been cancelled.

This is according to a release issued by the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados.

It says this is due to changes in Barbados’ general COVID-19 posture.

The country is now dealing with a large cluster of the virus.

The Embassy says Non-immigrant visa applicants having an appointment during this period may reschedule their appointment on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-bb/niv.

It also indicated that the Machine Readable Visa or MRV fee remains valid.
