The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is taking issue with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell, for what it believes is allowing employers a free reign to force their employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine, under conditions of employment.
NDC, at a News Conference today, accused the Prime Minister of sending mixed signals.
It stems from comments he made on the subject.
Claudette Joseph chided the Prime Minister for not being consistent.
Joseph goes further to ask the Government to clarify its position on the issue.
While, we were engaged in the production of this edition, we got a flashback of the Prime Minister’s comment on the subject.
He made the clarification as to the point of view, noting that he was misinterpreted.
The NDC PRO makes reference to the Astrazenca vaccine, the only vaccine Grenada is utilizing in the fight against the coronavirus and the suspicion people may have about the vaccine, according to situations relating to its start and stop roll-out in other countries.
She’s advising that education about the vaccine is needed in Grenada that may help calm fears in the process.
