The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) is up and about sensitizing the public on the operations of its Criminal Records Office (CRO), its roles and functions.
The lawmen, speaking on their weekly outreach programme on Wee Fm Radio, outlined some of the areas of responsibility, including maintaining records of all persons convicted of offences in Grenada, Providing Police Record Certificates to members of the public, Photography and processing of crime scenes and Collecting and analyzing finger and shoe-print evidence, among others.
Inspector of Police, Alfred Pierre, the Officer in Charge of the Criminal Records Office outlined some of the offences that will allow someone to get a criminal record.
When asked if a criminal record can stain an individual for life, Inspector Pierre had this to say.
