President of the Grenada Association of Poultry Producers, Jason Phillip, says the industry in Grenada is poised for take-off.
Phillip was engaged at a meeting of member producers this week, looking at the industry’s current state of affairs and plans of revamping the organization.
Phillip highlighted the successes of the association during the covid lockdown and stressed that more development is in store.
He called for greater collaboration among members so as to effectively push the development agenda of the poultry industry forward.
The man representing the Agriculture sector in the Senate, Roderick St. Clair, noted that plans are in place to provide more support to the association and its members.
He spoke of the government’s ongoing labour support programme.
