Grenada is among several Caribbean countries down to benefit from an Inter-regional Project to increase climate resilience in the Caribbean.

REPORT:

Karayib Klima was created to assist regional countries adapt to the consequences of climate change, now deemed a major challenge for the region.

Thirteen grants have been awarded to inter-island coalitions of civil society organizations for the implementation of climate resilience projects in the Creole-speaking Caribbean.

The 13 selected projects will be granted an average of forty thousand Euros each to carry out a field action or an awareness campaign to increase climate resilience in the region.

Dominica, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, St. Lucia and St. Martin will also benefit from the projects which fall into two categories.
