Grenada recorded two fires last evening.
Reports coming in indicate that a family of 5, a mother, her father, two little girls and a stepson from Circular Drive in the Grand Anse area lost their dwelling home.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Police investigations are said to be continuing.
Wee Fm News spoke with a friend of the fire victim, who’s in the process of mobilizing help for the family.
It was brought to our attention that the family associated with the fire was taken to hospital for observation but have since been discharged and are safe.
And, Wee Fm News also learnt that a shop in the Non-Pariel area in St. Mark was gutted by fire last night.
The entire building with all of its content was burnt to the ground.
The cause of the fire is not known.
Investigations are also said to be continuing in this matter.
