Alex Simon, a student of the Presentation Brothers College (PBC) is the top winner of the “Commonwealth Day Creative Arts Competition”.
The St. Joseph’s Convent Grenville took the second, third and fourth places with Arihanna Williams, Naomi Joseph and Kayonte Joseph, respectively.
While the Presentation Brothers College Asa St. Bernard came in fifth.
The Competition was organized by the British High Commission in St. George, in partnership with the Division of Youth Development and Ministry of Education.
The prize giving ceremony was held today, on the occasion of Commonwealth Day, at the Grenada Olympic Committee’s Office, Morne Rouge St. George.
Every year, people in Commonwealth countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean the Americas, the Pacific and Europe observe the day with a range of activities, including faith and civic gatherings, flag raising ceremonies and cultural events.
