Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, speaking on improvements in Grenada’s status, considering the spike or the first real wave of the virus over the past several weeks, says by no means Grenada is at the end of the fight against the coronavirus.

He was on the panel at this week’s Post-Cabinet Briefing.

Nevertheless, Dr. Charles says the country has accomplished a lot over the last few days, with the cooperation of many Grenadians and an outpouring of generosity from citizens, friends and partners both locally and internationally.

He says they are continuing to concentrate on manning the response.

Dr. Charles says Grenada was able to overcome the first wave and what matters now is how we prepare for the future.

This is how he puts his plea.
