A National Poultry Consultation was held today aimed at paving the way for the completion of the final draft of the 2023 National Poultry Policy,spearheaded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands Forestry and Marine Resources in collaboration with the Grenada Association of Poultry producers.
Today’s exercise follows a series of parish consultations that were held throughout the tri island state.
Agricultural officials are labeling today’s’ National Poultry Consultation as a major milestone in advancing Grenada’s Food security drive.
Increasing market potential by boosting local production and maximizing on the health benefits of the local industry thereby increasing revenue earnings for poultry farmers are among driving factors influencing the national Poultry Policy
The National Draft Policy is expected within the next three months.
