Newly-elected agriculture Senator, Roderick St. Clair, is seeking to encourage the consumption of more local produce.
He is soon to take up the seat in the Upper Chamber left vacant with Dr. Dunstan Campbell’s resignation earlier this month.
St. Clair, off long-years standing in the Agriculture sector, believes it’s extremely significant, given the current global climate, to grow and eat local.
St. Clair says high on the agenda will be the issue of food safety…produce free of harmful chemicals.
