The ministry of agriculture is preparing to embark on a series of Budget consultations and is sending out notice to stakeholders in the sector.
On the schedule the consultations are due to begin on the 14th of this month, at the Deluxe Cinema in Grenville from 9.30 in the morning to 12.30 in the afternoon and at the Hillsborough Government School in Carriacou from 5.30 in the afternoon to 8 in the evening.
The Consultation is expected to provide updates on the achievements of the sector, as well as an economic update for the first half of the year.
Organizers are expected to solicit the views of the audience on the challenges within the sector, solutions and prioritization of actions for implementation within the 2024 Budget.
Agriculture Budget Consultations will also be held at the St. Paul’s Government School on 18th September; the St. Patrick’s Anglican School on the 19th; the Belle Vue Primary School in St. David on the 20th; the BonairGovernment School in St. Mark on the 21st; the St. Andrew Methodist School on the 25th and on the 26th the St. John’s Anglican School.
