Farmers in Carriacou and mainland Grenada are being encouraged to understand the benefits that can be provided with the installation of proper irrigation.
That was the emphasis of a project by the Ministry of Agriculture, with an investment to the tune of more than one hundred thousand EC dollars.
ย The farmers have been offered technical support in irrigation technology.
ย Equipment in this connection were handed to the farmers recently, so as to allow them to become more productive and enhance their livelihood.
ย The initiative is being supported by the Caribbean Aqua Terrestrials project.
