Further to a press release issued on December 30, the Government of Grenada now advises that permission granted to designated facilities for fireworks displays on Old Year’s night, has been rescinded.
Therefore, there will be no fireworks displays at any location in the country.
All individuals or business entities are therefore asked to be guided accordingly.
Government apologises for any confusion created by the previous release but it encourages the cooperation of everyone.
Failure to comply could result in legal consequences for breaching the current regulations.
The Government of Grenada takes this opportunity to wish everyone a safe, healthy and productive 2021.
