Fuel prices have hit a new record high at the pumps across the world forcing countries to tightening the squeeze on consumers.

Here in Grenada the Government has been cushioning the high prices with a capped price of 15 dollars per imperial gallon at the pumps.

The capped measure was introduced by the Government in December of last year.

Speaking to members of the media today finance minister Gregory Bowen says keeping the populace informed about global happenings is of paramount importance. 

Minister Bowen is reminding the public that international fuel prices have become acutely elevated since the end of 2021 into 2022.

Minister Bowen gave a breakdown of how the 15 dollar cap on fuel prices has been going.
