Notice has been sent out indicating that payment arrangements are being made to the remaining eligible Plan Creditors of BAICO (British American Insurance Company Limited).
This falls in line with an order of the Supreme Court in the Bahamas sanctioning the plan of arrangement, which a release from the judicial manager, Reuben John says is now in effect.
The payments will be made from the office of British American Insurance Company Limited on Young street, St. George’s.
It said the payments began today and will run through Thursday.
All Plan Creditors have been told to walk with proper identification when presenting themselves for payment.
In addition to their own ID Representatives of Plan Creditors should present a letter of authorization from the Plan Creditor and a notarized copy of the Plan Creditor’s ID.
Executors of Wills should also present notarized copies confirming their standing as executors.
