Grenadian Iconic Carnival bandleader, Peter Bain, is given his final farewell and was laid to rest this morning. Peter died Monday October 4, after being hospitalized over several weeks.
The CEO of Rainbow City Mas Promoters, Peter leaves behind a legacy Grenada will always remember as a man for family, community and the advancement of sports and culture.
His farewell was punctuated with songs and tributes befitting a civic-minded man with a heart for humanity.

Like his deceased father, Norris Bain, one of the Minister of the PRG Government who met his fate at Fort George at the demise of the Grenada revolution, Peter had a penchant for cricket, among other sports in which he participated and also famous for his comradry among his peers.

Peter was a superb all-round cricketer.
Yolande indicated that Peter was fearless and very adventurous.
His daughter, in tears, described Peter as a “stubborn angel”.
