The Grenada Government has received high praise again for the way in which it has managed the COVID-19 situation here.
The compliment comes from the newly-appointed Ambassador to Grenada from the Kingdom of Belgium, Hugo Verbist.
Ambassador Verbist has pledged to donate 4 million vaccines to the COVAX facility, which will be used to assist Grenada and the rest of the Caribbean region.
This is in an addition to a recent contribution of 4 million Euros to the COVAX facility.
The new Belgium Ambassador yesterday made the announcement about the donation of vaccines in presenting his credentials to Governor General Dame Cecile La Grenade.
Governor General Dame Cecile La Grenade speaks of the deepening of relations between the two countries, Grenada and Belgium and for the enhancement of trade and investment opportunities in the not too distant future.
