As the Waggy T GFA Pure Grenada Cup competition continued on the week-end, there were victories for St. Andrew Big Parish Stars and St. Patrick Crown City Strikers.
Big Parish Stars defeated the National Under-23 squad two goals to nil.
Both goals were scored in the first half, the first by Giovanni Andrew in the early moments and the second by Shakim Richards close to the interval.
In game two, a double brace by the prolific Striker Denron “Toko” Daniel pushed St. Patrick Crown City Strikers to an overwhelming 8-2 victory against Carriacou Sting Rays.
Daniel’s goals came in the 33rd, 45th, 48th, 76th and 81st minutes, two from the penalty spot.
The other goals for Crown City Strikers were netted by Kade Wellington, Kwan Baptiste and Chad Mark.
The two goals for Carriacou were scored by Marcus Elias.
