In our luncheon edition today we told you about Grenadian citizen, Anthony St. Hillaire, 60 years, and two other men from St. Vincent and the Grenadines on board a vessel which left Canouan, destined to St. Maarten last week and was not heard of since.
This was according to a complaint made by the Captain Grafton Farrell’s sister who said that she was not able to contact the man on what’s reported to be a 46-foot-long wooden Grenada-registered vessel.
Concern for the fate of the men heightened and in Grenada the Coast Guard was alerted and has been on the look-out.
What Cindy Farrell said is that the men have not arrived in St. Maarten and she has not heard from any of them.
With that report in our Luncheon Edition, it’s been brought to our attention that the boat MV Minerva, which set sail from Kingstown for St. Maarten with two Vincentians and a Grenadian on board last Wednesday has been detained in Martinique.
This, after the discovery of some 450 kilos of cocaine on Board.
