BRITISH EMPIRE MEDAL AWARDEE CALLS ON GRENADIANS TO CONSUME MORE FISH

We were able to catch up with two of the awardees this morning, Gouyave Fisherman, Desmond Gill and Environmentalist, Dr. Valma Jessamy.

British Empire Medal (BEM) awardee, Desmond Gill, calls on Grenadians to eat healthier. He wants citizens to consume more fish. 

An elated Gill says the Queen’s BEM Award achievement is humbling and advises his peers in the sea-trade to remain focused and give off their best.

Gouyave, St. John fisherman, Desmond Gill, who’s on the June 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, being awarded the British Empire Medal.
