One of the nation’s calypsonians has passed to the Great Beyond.
Pretender (Gerald Joseph) of Florida, St. John’s, died last Thursday, after a lengthy illness.
We would remember this song which he wrote in honour of the role of agriculture workers, whom he described as the real National Heroes
