With the vibes of Carnival 2023 already picking up on the airwaves, the first in the song competitions under the Spicemas Charter gets underway today.
It’s the Soca Prelims and 25 of the registered participants will be on the stage of the La Sagesse Hard Court.
Starting the show will be Sweet Stella, followed by Pluto Space Cadet, Beans and Snoop, King Arthur, D Hammer, Papa Jerry, Moses Ranks, Landlord, Shamak, Baby L, Dash, Reignz and Pico, Boogie B, Black Blingerz, Antoine, Lednek, Capone, Buckete, Brain, Jigsaw, Squeeze Head, Myney, Soca Ray, Twiggy and Plaw.
The second preliminary tomorrow will also be on stage at the La Sagesse Court.
Speaking to the CEO of Spicemas Corporation, Cecil Noel, expectation is that the shows will have their exzcitement, with young and upcoming promising artistes on stage.
Mr. Noel makes an appeal for the crowds to attend the shows and give the artistes the much needed support.
