Last night, Matthew Thomas who goes by the stage name “Gold’N”, retained his Groovy Monarch title with his rendition “IN ME HEAD”, a rendition which gave him his 5^th title

He indicated to our news desk that the song was 8 years in the making.

Meanwhile, Zerina Bedeau “Lady B”, also retained her title of Calypso Monarch with her rendition “Film That”.

The defending Soca Monarch, Garvin Moses “Mozo”, captured the Soca Monarch title once again with his rendition “God’s Eye”.
