The government of Grenada welcomed a multidisciplinary team from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) on a five-day mission from February 13th to 17th.
The mission coordinated by the Ministry of Mobilisation, Implementation and Transformation, aimed at a thorough assessment of all CDB-funded projects on the mainland and in Carriacou.
The team accompanied by officers within the Ministry of Mobilisation, Implementation and Transformation met with senior government officials and project coordinators during a series of site visits and consultations targeted at monitoring the implementation status of key CDB-funded projects and discussing other developmental areas for collaboration on Government’s agenda.
The CDB-funded projects related to road rehabilitation and coastal defense, water expansion and waste treatment and institutional strengthening in the education, health, agriculture, and social sectors.
Moving forward the government of Grenada intends to make these projects high priority implementation areas for successful completion, as well as to facilitate in a timely manner the relevant developmental impacts for sustainable and resilient communities.
