Changes To Grenada’s Covid Health entry protocols relative to visitor travel at the country’s air and sea ports are to take effect this Saturday.

Only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to enter.

There are exemptions for children under 13 years, residents and citizens of Grenada, diplomats and flight crew on lay-over.

The new entry protocols are aimed at minimizing exposure to new COVID-19 cases in Grenada and avoid any burden on the health system.

This is how the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, makes the point.

Based on the fragility of the health system, he’s suggesting that absolute precaution be necessary, since it’ll be difficult to deal with any outbreak currently.
