The CPA notes that this tragic event unfolded amidst the global celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), a day dedicated to honoring women and girls and fostering dialogues aimed at empowering the most vulnerable and marginalized women in our societies.
Corporate Communications Officer at the Child Protection Authority, Donella Hosten, says the CPA is actively offering psychological support to Esther’s family during this difficult time.
Hosten emphasizes that the CPA strongly condemns violence against children, while at the same time issues a heartfelt plea to parents, urging them to be attentive to the needs and well-being of their children.
