Reports have it that some members of the clerical staff at Police Headquarters have been told to stay at home, in view of efforts by health authorities in stemming the tide of COVID-19.

On account of tracing operations, we were told that there’s suspicion that someone may have been exposed and has been tested for the virus and is awaiting results.

The measure of directing the clerical staff to remain home follows precautionary procedures laid down health authorities to contain further spread of the virus, once detected in any specific area.

They’ll not be allowed to return, not until it’s determined that the specimen being investigated is COVID-free.
