The Inter-Agency Group of Development Organizations (IAGDO) is staging what’s dubbed as Climate Solutions’ Expositions that will outline climate-related initiatives, as far as resilience in Agriculture, Food and Nutrition: Sovereignty, Security, Safety and Sustainability is concerned.
The first expo will be held on the 29th of this month at the Canal in St. David and the second, April 5, at the St. Patrick Anglican School.
A release on the subject indicates that the activity will provide an opportunity to showcase climate-related initiatives being undertaken by local communities, Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s), as well as public and private sector partners.
It also seeks to facilitate public awareness and encourage climate action at local levels.
Also, to encourage exchange and sharing of knowledge and information among the various stakeholders and others participating in the activity.
Both Expos will be open to the public from 11in the morning, with the official programme getting underway at 1 in the afternoon.
